Isis joined the Lusby group as a PhD student in 2019 with the focus of her research being on the biomedical applications of metal coordination cages. She completed her Masters (MChem) at the University of East Anglia including a year at the University of Technology Sydney. During her time in Sydney she completed a research internship at the National Measurement Institute under the supervision of Dr Stephen Davies. Her Master’s research project involved the design and synthesis of duocarmycin conjugated gold nanoparticles as targeted breast cancer therapeutics supervised by Prof. Mark Searcey.
